Perreira is a writer, educator, theologian and political activist. Mr. Perreira is also the chairperson of Organization for the Victory of the People (OVP) based in Guyana; as well as an executive member of the Caribbean Chapter of the Network for the Defense of Humanity and the Caribbean Pan-African Network (CPAN).
